Tips for Creating a Beautiful and Unique Bridal Shower

Spring is just a few weeks away - which means wedding shower season is also just around the corner!

I love working on wedding shower pieces just as much as wedding pieces. I’ve had the pleasure of working on so many fun and unique showers over the years I thought it would be fun to share a list of the things that I think make bridal showers great. So if you are looking for some tips, ideas, and inspiration, be sure to read on!

A fun Theme

Who doesn’t love a good theme? And before you roll your eyes, remember - it doesn’t have to be over the top and crazy. It can be as simple as something the bride enjoys. Does she enjoy a good cup of tea? Opt for a classic for a tea party. Does she enjoy all things flowers? Go with a garden party theme.

One of my favorite themes I worked on was Casey’s “Main Squeeze” bridal shower. She was super inspired by the Italian countryside so we worked it into both her wedding and bridal shower invitations. The gorgeous blue welcome sign, assorted lemon signs and homemade limoncello favors helped tie this theme together perfectly.

Beautiful Stationery

Of course, this is one of my top tips, but it truly can make such an impact! Not only are they sure to impress your guests, but the bride can also keep them as keepsakes for years to come! Here’s a few that I loved designing!

A Beautiful Tablescape

Nothing is more inviting and impactful than a beautiful table setting. Adding fresh flowers, elegant table linens, and dishware along with pretty table numbers, menus, and place cards are sure to elevate any event!

Fun Drinks

Fun party drinks are a must! Even if they are just mocktails, a signature drink list is a cute and easy way to tie in your theme. Take it to the next level with a personalized menu on display!
