'Til Death Do Us Part Wedding at Renault Winery in New Jersey

While I love light and airy wedding color palettes, there’s just something really magical about a ‘Til Death Do Us Part theme! Jessica and Drew got married at the stunning Renault Winery venue in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey and truly transformed the space into something specatcular.

For the ceremony, guests were welcomed into this bright space with gorgeous windows and their first look of the stunning florals by Primrose and Company that were throughout the wedding. Off to the side was a beautiful display including an engraved wooden wine box I design that matched back to the invites. Guests were also given some hot chocolate with marshmallows in pretty mugs (I mean how fun is that?!) and were serenaded by the incredibly talented musicians of Philadelphia String Quartet.

Guests were then completely wowed when they entered the ballroom for the reception! Jess and Drew’s planner Kristin of Bel Momento Weddings went above and beyond with so many incredible details. From the most perfect shade of purple on the oversized napkins to the guest names written on golden pears to an array of candles sprinkled throughout, no detail was too small. The couple wanted to add an In Lieu of Favors card to each place setting, so I painted two ravens with the same purples and fonts as their invites along with the same black watercolor wash. The round shape of the cards fit perfectly in the charger and gave a great personal aspect to the tables! The finishing touch was an all black wedding cake adorned with fresh flowers by The Bake Works that looked absolutely delicious.

From start to finish, everything for their wedding coordinated and matched effortlessly. Save the Dates and invitations are the first look guests have into a wedding, so you want to make sure that theme is showcased in your paper goods. Since I had the wedding moodboard and an idea of what the overall vision was, I made sure to paint the same florals as the florals on the wedding day, add a watercolor skull, and of course include black envelopes with white ink printing. Guests knew they were in for one amazing wedding as soon as they checked their mailbox that day!

Overall, this wedding was truly incredible from start to finish and included some extremely talented vendors, especially the photographer Danielle of Danielle Salerno Photography who captured everything beyond beautifully. Jess and Drew were a dream to work with and I can’t wait to create more special pieces for my clients in the future!
