Heather and Matt's Wedding at Renault Winery

There is something so special about helping friends create stationery for their wedding day and this one is no different!

A few years back when I was living in New Jersey, I decided to try something new and joined a CrossFit gym. After a few drop-in classes, I decided to take advantage of a 3-month summer special membership sale.

While Heather wasn't my coach, she corrected my form during the workout and I was super embarrassed but kept coming back to the gym because I had paid for the 3 months up front. We ended up bonded over our dogs and became fast friends. Fast forward to September and I was her maid of honor!

We began with some classic Save the Dates that showcased some of their beautiful engagement photos. When it came time for her invitations, I knew we had to incorporate her dog somehow. We decided to create a die-cut RSVP card of her dog Keoni! We also added a linework drawing of her venue, Renault Winery, in white ink. The color palette was black, white, and olive green so we had the invites reflect that.

Next, we moved on to the ceremony and reception details! First we created a welcome sign to greet guests as they arrived.

For the seating chart, we wanted to go big! We decided on a 6' foam core sign. It was striking and I’m so happy with how it turned out!

For the tables, we decided to create acrylic table numbers that tied in with the look and feel of the seating chart.

Now most importantly…the bar accessories! We created an acrylic bar menu, custom napkins, and wooden stir sticks.

We of course had to incorporate a dog sign for the soft-drink station too! How cute did this turn out?

We also created signs for their photo guestbook, paper hotel bag stickers, and one of my absolute favorite components of their wedding - a biscuit bar (featuring Keoni of course). Guests were also treated to custom cello bag, which had a dog treat for the guests' pets at home. We foil stamped my custom linework sketch of him on each guest’s bag!

Heather and Matt received photos well after the wedding from guests giving them to their dogs.

And lastly - since Matt and Heather love coffee - each guest received jars of their favorite coffee grounds at their seats as a favor. We created a sticker to go on top of the jars. I love food favors because guests always take them home.

I am so honored to play such a special role in my amazing friend’s big day! Congratulations, Heather and Matt!!
