Custom Invitations
Are you someone who wants something different than what every other person sends for their invitation? Something that will make your friends and family want to keep them for forever? Welcome to Slate + Brush Design Studio custom invitations! I don’t design for the average person. I design for the person who loves to stand out and make something beautiful.
For my custom invitations, I start with a blank piece of paper and go from there. I will learn more about your event, more about you, and what you do and don’t like in order to create the most perfect invitations you could ever imagine. Whether you want to add foil or a painting of your sweet pup, I’m here for it. Need table numbers or signage or even wine bottle favor labels to match back to your invites? You got it. I’m all about the small details that really tie everything together. We’ll make it happen and I promise to make the invitations your favorite part of the event planning process!
What is the investment?
For 100 custom wedding invitations suites, pricing starts at $2,500. All artwork is hand-painted or drawn by me (no stock images here!) in order to fit your wedding vision perfectly and I use the best, most luxe materials from across the U.S. for all of my invitations. I know how difficult wedding planning is, so I always try my best to make it as easy as possible, like by mailing a keepsake suite to your photographer before the wedding so that you don’t have to worry about remembering to bring an extra suite on your wedding day. I also love surprising all of my incredible clients with gifts/upgrades when mailing their suites as well as months after their wedding!
What is the design process like?
After you fill out the above questionnaire and I will reach out to you via email to set up a phone call to go over different options and learn more about what you’re looking for. I’ll then send you a quote for you to review along with a contract and can also mail you physical samples so that you can see and feel the paper in person (pictures don’t do invitations justice!). Please note that 50% of the deposit is due up front, and then the rest of the payment is due right before printing after everything is confirmed and signed off on.
Following a phone call where we discuss your love story, wedding ideas, and what you’re looking for, I’ll get started on your main invitation card designs. I love to post my painting process, so be sure to follow me on Instagram for some behind-the-scene sneak peeks of your invites! You’ll first receive three different design options through my CRM program Dubsado with different wording, fonts, and layouts. You can note any changes or adjustments that you’d like made and then a revised design will be sent. Once the design is approved, I will design the rest of your suite to match perfectly.
Once everything is printed and looking beautiful, you will be mailed the invitations so that you can send them to your friends and family! If you need any day of items like place cards, signs, or even personalized cocktail napkins to match your invites, I can work on those for you as well.
