A Colorful Styled-Shoot at Turkey Trac farm

I recently had the pleasure of participating in this incredible styled shoot at Turkey Trac Farm.

What first excited me about this shoot was the mood board. A summer theme with lots of bold colors - what a dream!

When it came to invitations, I knew I wanted to amplify the boldness of the colors by playing with some fun shapes. I decided to go with wavy, circular, half-arch, and oval die-cut shapes and I absolutely love how they turned out. I completed the suite with an oval tag featuring a printed monogram that tied on with the chiffon ribbon. My good friend Shannon from Peach & Paperie helped take the bright pink envelopes to the next level with her stunning calligraphy.

For the ceremony welcome sign, I thought it would be fun to bring in the same wavy shape I used for the invitation suite along with the hot pink used with the envelopes.

When it came to the dinner menus, I wanted to mix things up a little bit with deckled edges and these gorgeous, gold wax seals. It’s such a fun detail and can be super functional for displaying place cards for your guests!

And of course, we can’t forget the bar! I created this watercolor design of their signature cocktail (which sounds sooo good and refreshing, am I right?) and made sure to once again carry through the bold colors through the text.
