Jenna and Patrick's May Wedding at Asbury Park
This wedding was SO MUCH FUN to work on. Jenna and Patrick are such a sweet couple and when it came to their wedding details, they had so many cool ideas that I was thrilled to help implement! These two met in Asbury Park and wanted to keep the color palette fun and colorful to match the boardwalk vibes.
For their wedding ceremony welcome sign, we decided to honor the historic time period in which the boardwalk was established with this beautiful ornate mirror. I also purchased some salt-water taffy from Criterion Chocolates and there was a bowl out for guests to grab!
Their ceremony is where we really elevated the theme. For their place cards, we added some Art Deco elements to play up the underlying boardwalk theme.
For the table numbers, we were going to create a fairly simplistic design and the bride was going to embroider them onto canvas flags. But we then decided to switch to the acrylic disco ball table numbers and I think it really pulled all of the elements together!
When it came to their signs, I thought using fun shapes would be a fun and easy way to play up the bright colors. Disco ball accents on both the signs and table numbers helped add some dimension and boardwalk-inspired fun.
My final and favorite part of their reception: late-night McDonalds! We originally talked about creating a large foam sign for this, but I just knew a neon sign would be the perfect fit for this component of their reception. We added their initials within the golden arches and it was the perfect centerpiece for their late-night spread.
I am just so thrilled for Jenna and Patrick - Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and late night McDonalds!
