Open house at Kent Island Resort
One of my favorite things about wedding venue events is getting the opportunity to get extra creative! I was invited to participate in an open house at the lovely Kent Island Resort. This was a really fun, creative opportunity for me to create a few different looks to help show couples the range of versatility this venue has to offer.
I used three different color palettes to create menus and table numbers for three different tablescapes.
The event kicked off with these beauitful bookcases featuring blueberry champagne from one of my favorite venues, Renault Winery. I created these drink disks for the samples of their amazing blueberry champagne! These are such a fun accessory to add to any champagne toast!
The first table had a major boho theme. What better way to elevate a boho theme than flowers? For this table, I applied florals with tweezers to each menu and table number and did a fun square shape for the menus. The table numbers have a circular tag with the monogram printed and wrapped suede cording along the top.
The second table was inspired by the beautiful blue floral centerpiece. The menu and the table number both feature hand-painted blue watercolor florals and torn edges for some added romance and dimension. I also included a customized watercolor venue painting to the top of the menu - I think this is such a fun and unexpected place to use a wedding venue painting!
The third table was a fan favorite - Barbie-inspired! For this table, I started off by creating these feminine, die-cut table numbers with the coolest glitter wax seals from Abby Choi Wax Seals.
I thought these oval menus with a hot pink tassel were a perfect pairing with the delicate, bow-shaped napkin. The pops of pink alongside the tablecloth were just perfection!
I actually designed an invitation suite for this table as well. I of course used lots of pink shades along with a watercolor venue painting. I had to complete this suite with one of the most Barbie inspired stationery accessory I could think of - a tiered pink tassel held with gold thread. And how fun is this sprinkled wax seal?
