Lisa and Zach's Wedding at Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club
This wedding is what dreamy & neutral summer wedding dreams are made of!
Lisa and Zach came to me with so many fun ideas and I had such a good time collaborating and bringing their ideas to life!
For this wedding, it was all about the d e t a i l s. We decided to go with these super romantic, printed cotton -linen signs. We created a wedding: welcome sign, an unplugged ceremony, and an after-party sign. I even got to dust off my sewing machine (fashion design major over here) to sew some seams. Pro tip: a clothing rack off Amazon makes for the perfect sign holders.
We also created a smaller cotton-linen sign that was draped over the bar. We kept the edges raw so that way it added a little texture around it. We wanted the bar details to be thoughtful too, so I worked with Dearly Beeloved to create these dehydrated orange slices featuring their monogram. They used a special food laser to laser them on - how cool is that? Both signature drinks used an orange slice as the garnish so it worked perfectly.
And of course, what bar would be complete without a custom watercolor signature drink sign? After getting a drink, guests could also pick up a classic monogrammed napkin or one of the 5 different trivia napkins - all of the answers were seen when you flipped the napkin upside down.
Another fun detail was these custom matchbooks for their cigar bar (using La Casa Grande Cigars) using a shiny blue with gold foil. One side of the matchbooks had their names and wedding date and the other side had a world map drawing and “our greatest adventure” written below. I love these kinds of favors because guests will use them well after the wedding!
I also worked with Dearly Beeloved to create their cake topper using this pretty gold acrylic!
I worked with Dearly Beeloved to create their travel-inspired seating chart along with Texture & Tequila who constructed this incredible, double-sided wall. I designed the yacht club graphic that was engraved into the leather luggage tags by Dearly Beeloved and then on the other side I printed the guest names and table numbers. I loved that these pieces were also able to act as favors too! Lisa and Zach love to travel so having many special travel-themed details throughout the wedding was just the perfect amount of personalized touch.
We didn’t skip any details for the rehearsal dinner either — we brought in hand-painted and calligraphed oyster shell place cards with gold around the edges and we also had the yacht club graphic printed on long-sleeved t-shirts for everyone at the rehearsal dinner!
I absolutely love how all of these details worked together to create the wedding look of their dreams! Congratulations Lisa + Zach!
