Artist Collaboration with Fig & Fire Candles

You know if there’s one thing I enjoy just as much as creating, it’s collaborating!

I am so excited to share the details of this special project with you. Karen and I first met at the artist meet-up at Locally Crafted in Gaithersburg, Maryland right before the store opened back in October of 2021.  We really hit it off and began following each other on Instagram that night!  I got the chance to check out some of her products and oh my gosh - they are AMAZING! They smell incredible and best of all, they are all-natural and don’t contain lead, petroleum byproducts, or toxins. You can also add on color coordinating matches so you have the start of a perfect relaxing night in at home all in one package!

She has collaborated with other stores/businesses before but wanted to do something special with watercolor artwork.  She looked over my site, picked out the designs she liked, and then I re-worked the artwork in order to fit the labels. There are three scents to choose from: Dream (sea salt, cardamom seed, amber and clove), Manifest (wild lavender, lemon cedar wood, bergamot) and Wander (oak moss, sage, tonka bean, and amber). You can’t go wrong with any scent - I love them all.

This was such a fun and special project for me. I loved the process and challenge of re-inventing my artwork all while getting the chance to team up with another small business that I absolutely love and stand behind.
