A Puppy Tale

Meet Parker - Slate + Brush’s studio pup! I adopted this little guy 4 years ago and he is pretty much the best thing that’s ever happened to me. One random Sunday in April I went to go grocery shopping and get some Starbucks and somehow ended up at the shelter. Less than an hour later Parker was in my car and I was on my way to getting him all of the supplies he needed from Petco, in shock that I was finally a dog Mom. It was the most unexpected and random decision to check out the shelter that day, plus I was actually the first person to meet him because he had just been dropped off there. From moves across states to late nights working, he is my sidekick through all of life’s adventures! Of course, as a crazy obsessed dog Mom,  I felt it was important that our pets have their place in the greeting card world. So naturally, he inspired me to create some of these pet-themed cards:

After living in New Jersey for five year and moving back to Maryland, I wanted to find a place where Parker and I both could meet new friends. I was so excited when I discovered Bark Social. This pet-friendly social club hosts so many fun events and has an incredible community of pet-lovers alike. What could be better than dogs, food, and good drinks?! I’m very happy to announce that I had to opportunity to collaborate with them for an upcoming doodle meet-up and created these cute new cards for their gift shops!
