Gen and Kieran’s Winter Wedding in New Jersey
February is for LOVERS! I cannot believe it’s nearly been a month since Gen and Kieran had the most stunning winter wedding at The Park Savoy in Florham Park! This venue *admittedly* is one of my favorite venues- between the gorgeous architecture, the peaceful garden, and the delicious cuisine… there are so many reasons why it’s a popular spot! This incredible venue is perfect for Weddings, to Corporate Events, to Fundraisers, Banquets and Celebrations of all kinds.
Long before G+K tied the knot, their love story first begun at Seton Hall while they were both attending law school. They felt it was only right to incorporate this part of their story throughout the wedding, and what better way to do so than leaning into a navy blue + white color palette and hosting their ceremony at none other than Seton Hall's Chapel of the Immaculate Conception? The Park Savoy Estate presents more than 50 years of catering tradition and re-envisioned with a spectacular renovation and restoration that makes it the perfect setting for any Seton Hall couple!
I had the pleasure of designing the ceremony programs and we include all of the readings to make it easy for guests to follow along, as well as the corresponding wedding party and parent names. One of my favorite personal touches was the special thank you note from G&K included on the back! They also had the welcome sign to greet guests at the church and then relocated it to The Park Savoy for the start of the reception. At the church, this sign was placed on an easel and at the reception it was moved to a gold frame, which really elevated the look!
Who doesn’t love the look of a big seating chart and secondary sign?! I know I sure do and this one was no different! We opted to add florals at the bottom to make a bold statement.
We also created a memorial table to honoring those who are no longer with us and a special sign that was set on top of a vintage wooden chest decorated with beautiful blooms and low-lit candles. The couple also used gold vintage frames throughout the wedding as a way to tie everything together and here you can see what a grand impact it made!
No wedding is complete without custom cocktail napkins and His & Her drink signs! This fun couple had just adopted a kitten so we knew we had to include her in the big day along with their childhood dogs. Don’t you just love how the portraits look in the foil for the cocktail napkins?! Want to know the best part?
