The Best of Maryland
A fun fact about me: Maryland is home!
I grew up in Maryland, lived in Philadelphia and then New Jersey for 10 years before coming back to Maryland during Covid. Maryland has such a special place in my heart and inspired so much of my work.
Today, I thought it would be fun to share a list of some of my favorite spots in the Chesapeake State.
SHIFT YOGA
Rated best in Howard County! Not only is the space beautiful, but every instructor is so kind, patient, and passionate about what they do. Yoga has helped me so much over the past few years and I am so happy I found such a fantastic studio with an incredible community!
Locally Crafted Shop
This incredible space is home to products created by over 85 artists across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C! This female-owned small business is a huge asset to the local small business community, giving other entrepreneurs a platform to share their goods and connect within the community. From greeting cards, to ceramics and jewelry, there is something for everyone in this beautiful storefront. They even host workshops and pop-up events throughout the area.
HERE.A pop-up shop
This pop-up botique is another fantastic platform for local creatives! Popping up around 4 times a year, HERE. features apparel, jewelry, accessories, art, photography, gift items, home goods, furniture and more - all made by local artists. The pop-up is always in and around Annapolis, always in a new location and each time with a new inspired theme. The cherry on top is that they collaborate with other local businesses & offers a GIVE BACK. Day supporting a local charity each shop.
Sidamo Coffee
Hands down my favorite local coffee shop! The coffee and food are always delicious, the staff is friendly and the entire space is so welcoming. I also love that the shop features artwork from a variety of local artists! If you stop by, there’s a good chance you will see me posted up at a table working away.
Victoria Gastro Pub
This is one of my absolute favorite local restaurants. A modern menu and amazing drinks, I often go here with friends when I need a girls night out. Make sure your try the Poutine fries!
Ellicott City
This historic shopping district is full of history, beauty and old-world charm. Here you will find various small businesses, boutiques, shops, and art galleries. Ellicott City is also known for having a variety of dining options fine cuisine to corner bistros and brew pubs to wine bars.
